The former school-canteen has been transformed into an attractive holiday home. It stands alone on site and you will find everything you need for a relaxing holiday at any time of the year.
With a living room / kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathroom, it can accommodate 1-4 persons.
In the main space you will find a sitting area (with TV / DVD & radio / CD), a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. One bedroom has 2 comfortable single
(box spring) beds (à 90-200 cm) the other has a double bed (140-200 cm). The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet and hair dryer. The cottage is heated by a comfortable wood stove (using wood granules) and electric radiators. From your private terrace you have a beautiful view of the castle and the valley where a river is rippling. In the evening you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
LE MAÎTRE
Next to the school is the former schoolmaster's residence. In this authentic French house, Le Maître, is on the ground floor. This spacious, fully equipped gîte has everything you need for a relaxing holiday anytime of the year. It has its own garden with a large terrace and a living room / kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It accommodates 2 adults and 2 children.
In this charming space you will find a sitting area (TV / DVD & radio / CD), a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. In the main bedroom there are 2 comfortable single beds (box spring à 90-200cm), in the second small bedroom there are bunk beds for the children. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, toilet and hair dryer. The cottage is heated by a wood stove and electric radiators. From the large terrace in your (fenced) garden you have a view of the valley where the river is rippling. In the evening you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

LA MAISON
The former school-master's house offers - 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 televisions and a private garden - accommodation for 6 adults and 2 children.

There are two bedrooms, one with 2 comfortable single beds (box spring à 90-200cm) and in the other bedroom are the bunk beds for the children.

From the terrace in the (fully fenced) garden you have a view of the valley where a river is quietly babbling In the evening you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
Both bathrooms have a toilet, shower, washbasin and hair dryer. The house is heated by a wood burning stove and electric radiators.

LA BARRIÈRE
In the village of Chaillac-sur-Vienne it time seems to be standing still. Nestled between the green hills of the Limousin, on the River Vienne, it exudes the tranquillity that is so typical of the French countryside. The former railway-signal-house is surrounded by meadows, at the end of a no through road. The few trains that pass during the day indicate the rhythm of the days that slide past. The authentic cottage has been converted into a cozy gîte. Here you will find everything you need for a relaxing holiday all year round. With 2 bedrooms, the house can accommodate 4 people.
On the ground floor you will find a hallway with toilet, a sitting room, a spacious dining room, kitchen and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, washbasin and hair dryer. On the first floor there are 2 large bedrooms each with 2 comfortable single beds (box spring à 90-200cm). The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a TV with DVD, a music system and a well-stocked bookcase. Provided heating is to do by a pellet stove and electric radiators. In the large enclosed garden the best thing to do: laze in the hammock with a book under the tree or parasol. In short ... a wonderful place to fully unwind.
