In 2006 we moved from Holland to St. Auvent, a charming village in the heart of France. On the border of this village you'll find A-LECOLE, a former village school with some outhouses on a land of 4000m2. After a big renovation we now live in the schoolbuilding and we have converted a few comfortable guesthouses and a B&B in the outhouses.
With 1-8 persons we offer you a warm welcome in our 3 Gîtes (Le Maître, La Récré, La Barrière) and our B&B (La Petite Écolière').

Adjacent at the schoolbuilding there is the former residence of the school misstress. On the first floor of this house you'll find our B&B (or apartment) 'La Petite Écolière'. With 2 large rooms and a bathroom it offers accomodation for 1-4 persons.

Our comfortable gîte Le Maître, on the ground floor of the house, will open her doors in the spring of 2010. It has a private terrace with a beautifull view and, with a livingroom/kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, it will accomodate 2 adults and 2 children.

At the border of the village Chaillac Sur Vienne (at 13 km from St Auvent) you'll find this former railroad cottage, La Barrière. Between fields, at the end of a dead end road, this cosy house offers you a lot of privacy and rest. With 2 bedrooms it offers accomodation for 1-4 persons. |
